Oh, hey there

Hey guys, I just wanted to make a quick post to apologize for the extreme lack of content that I've put out. I guess you could say I took another hiatus. I've just been really focusing on my school life and other personal stuff. I really hope to get back into making videos and posting stuff real soon. Thanks for sticking around!

Hooped It... Right Out The Window

Hey guys, I was going to have episode 6 (going to be titled "Hooped It") of my Quantum Conundrum series ready for you today, but it seems that FRAPS messed up somehow and didn't completely render the file correctly or something like that. The audio just cuts out halfway through the video, and I don't really want to upload something of that quality for you guys.

If you want me to still upload it just for completeness sake, and add music or something for the rest of the video, I can certainly do that; or if you'd rather me just skip that episode and move on to Episode 7, then I can do that as well. Please comment and let me know what you'd like me to do about this. Thank you.

A Cat Named Derp, Everyday I'm Shovelin'

Hey guys, I have two new episodes of Quantum Conundrum for you, just cause I'm so far ahead of myself with recording them. I really love this game. I really hope you're all enjoying them. Please don't hesitate to like/favorite them (and subscribe to me if you haven't). I really appreciate the feedback if you can give it. (Even if it's just a comment.) I love hearing that you guys like what I do. Thanks! Here's the videos. :)

Gettin' Heavy

Hey everyone! Here's the third installment of my Quantum Conundrum playthrough! This time I discover a whole new dimension where everything is heavy! I hope you all like it.

Also, the Minecraft parkour video I did with Noah and Brendan, STILL hasn't finished processing. I'm assuming it's because it's such a long video. YouTube might be a bit backed up as well. I'll post it as soon as it'd done. That might take another day though. Haha.

Quantum Con-tinued and some Hardcore Parkour

Hey guys, I hope your're all enjoying my first Quantum Conundrum video. I recorded it all in one play session, so there won't be any video length differences or anything that you may have requested. I have decided to make my videos typically 22 minutes long. I think that's a good medium that won't be too short or too long and boring. I will try and make the occasional hour long video though if you guys want it, or if I'm doing something special. Anyway, enjoy part two in all of it's HD glory. :)

I get to meet this little guy!

Yesterday, I also did a Minecraft parkour map with my friends, Brendan (Nasku501), and Noah (Dontshoot). It's called Rumble In The Jungle. I hope you all like that as well. The video is a bit long (around 45 minutes) so you might have to watch it in sessions if it's too long for you to sit through at once. I hope that's alright with you guys.

Let me know how I'm doing with all this, and have a great night.

EDIT 7/14: The Minecraft video still hasn't finished processing. I'll make a new post with it, and link to it here, once it is view-able. Sorry about the wait. Thanks for understanding!

FRAPpy Summer: A Quantum Conundrum

Hey everyone!

Sorry it's been so super long since I last posted. I literally haven't really done anything so far this summer, so it's 100% my fault haha. Anyway, I got FRAPS today (like I've been promising to do FOREVER.) I also bought the new game, Quantum Conundrum. I guess it was made by the same development director or something as Portal, so it's really cool. It's a puzzle-y fancy shmancy physics type game, and so far I've had a great time.

Enjoy the new high-quality videos from now on, (HD WOO!) and don't forget to like/fav/subscribe! I really appreciate all your support.

Here is part 1! (I actually recorded 3 parts today in one play session, just because it was so addicting, and then I found out on YouTube, they're letting me upload videos that are [I'm assuming] as long as I want, so no more 15 minute limit! Let me know in the comments how long you think my average play session should be, and if you'd mind longer videos [forty five minutes/ hour?] Anyway, enjoy it!

Thanks!

P.S. Also please let me know if there's a schedule idea you have for my videos (ie. Mon, Wed, Fri? Every Saturday? etc) Thanks! :)

May The Brick Force Be With You

Hey guys,
No, I'm not leaving the Blogosphere. I've just been super lazy and busy I guess. I'm hoping to get more videos and content out there as we get closer to my AP Bio exam in a few weeks. School has been taking up a lot of my time lately and I apologize. I have tried filming in the past few weeks, but Hypercam has been glitchy. (I do plan on buying FRAPS sometime soon.) I digress.

I'm back, and hopefully won't leave for 5 months any time soon. The other day, I started playing a new MMO called Brick Force. Maybe you've heard of it, maybe not. It's like MineCraft in that everything is made of blocks, but it is an FPS, so it's like Team Fortress 2 in that respect. It's a great combination of the two and I recommend it to anyone who plays either.

I made a video of me playing the tutorial and also a montage of some funny clips of my gameplay afterwords.

I hope you all enjoy it! (You can access the montage through an annotation at the end of the tutorial, or in the video description.)

Also, before I sign off for now, please follow me on Twitter (@1Mudkip88). I'd really appreciate it because I try to keep that updated, and love to hear feedback from my fans. Thanks so much! (Happy May The 4th to all the Star Wars fans out there!)

The Missing Isaac

Hey guys,
I was just about to upload another episode of my Binding of Isaac playthrough, when I noticed I skipped one of the episodes. Super sorry about that. I hope I didn't cause too much confusion! I hope you guys enjoy it, and this Friday, I will finally upload the video of Brendan and my Flash Friday and hopefully some more Skyblock throughout the week. God I hate my procrastination...

Enjoy the video and...

New Year's Resolution

Hello hello!
Getting out of the posting hiatus, and will post some stuffs this weekend. I promise I'm gonna be doing more. New Year's Resolution. Haha. Enjoy this new Binding of Isaac video. (Watch the rest if you haven't seen them!)

Hope you all had a great week back at school!

Lazy Vacation

Hey guys,
Just wanted to make a quick post since I haven't done anything on this blog during my vacation. I had a really fun time with my friends and family and I hope you all had a great holiday season and enjoyed your break. I plan on recording some more Binding of Isaac this week and uploading a Flash Friday I did with Brendan on the day of my birthday party (12/4). Hopefully I can back into the habit of doing those.

Again, sorry I've been so lazy. Now go watch some of my Isaac videos and subscribe if you haven't already.

Thanks!

The Binding of Busyness

Hey everyone,
Sorry about the hiatus. I've just been busy with drama club auditions, rehearsals, and school stuff in general. Now that it's Christmas break, I'm going to be free to upload videos and make posts for a whole week.

I recently got a few more games from Steam for the Christmas sale. I got, 'Half Life 2: Episode 1' (Really 'Half Life 3: Episode 1' for when I finish HL2.), 'Audiosurf', 'Garry's Mod', and 'The Binding of Isaac', which I started a playthrough on. (Sorry for the slight audio delay. Same thing that happened with the first Bit.Trip Runner video, used the same fix, but still a little delay.) I've been following Cupquake's (ihascupquake) playthrough of it, and as usual I love it. So why not get the game? Anyway, here's the first episode. I hope you all like it.

As you can all see, I'm still getting the hang of it. It's actually a lot harder than you'd think. I know I'll get better at it as I keep playing. This time I'm going to film episodes and save the time of splitting them up (like I have to with SkyBlock, which I will do this week as well.) That'll save a lot of time, and allow me to upload faster, and get more done.

Thanks for watching. I'll talk to you all real soon.

Starting Bit.Trip Runner, and More Playthroughs To Come!

Hey guys. Just wanted to post a quick update to let you all know that I'm starting a Bit.Trip Runner playthrough. Here's the first episode that I filmed on Sunday.

Recently I bought the Super Meat Boy Anniversary Pack (Including Super Meat Boy, Aquaria, Bit.Trip Runner, Bit.Trip Beat, VVVVVV, World of Goo, Gish, Machinarium, Braid, Half Life 2, and Half Life 2: Lost Coast.) I plan on doing playthroughs of Aquaria, Bit.Trip Runner (obviously) Bit.Trip Beat, VVVVVV, Gish, Machinarium, and Braid (once it gives me a resolution option, because right now I can't see the game to play it.)

The reason I'm not doing ones for Super Meat Boy, Half Life 2, and World of Goo is because I've already started them and you wouldn't be getting my honest reactions to the games. That's just how it is. Also, it'd take me a year to do Meat Boy. I'm super bad at it. (Well, not worse than average. I just get super frustrated with it. I'm getting an XBOX controller for the PC, so that should help a lot.)

So yeah, that's about it for today. I'll be doing a Thanksgiving Flash Friday this week, so if you have any game ideas for that, post it in the comments. Thanks guys!

Flash Friday: Bouncy Mouse and Gravity Duck

Hey, so today was a Double Flash Friday because I've just been super duper lazy lately. But, what are you gonna do? I'm a teenager and that's just how I am. Haha. So here's the video. I hope you all like it.

If you have any game suggestions for Flash Friday or a playthrough, just pop it in the comments. I'll also try to upload some SkyBlock tonight. For reals.

Quick Post-Birthday Update

Hey everyone. I just wanted to say a quick hello, and let you all know that I'm sorry I wasn't able to post any videos or anything else here or on YouTube or Twitter. As (I hope) most of you know, yesterday was my 16th birthday, so naturally we had family over and celebrated.

With all this going on last night, I didn't get a chance to make any videos and such. I'll make Flash Friday tonight and upload more SkyBlock. (You guys are probably getting tired of hearing that, huh?) This time I really mean it though. Haha.

So yeah, this was just a quick update on why it was so quiet last night on my Twitter and blog. Sorry for the disappointment. I'll get it all done tonight. No really, I promise. For reals. :)

Happy Gaming

EDIT:
Actually, I'm really tired right now, so I'll get it done tomorrow. Sorry guys.

16th Birthday and URL Change

Hey everyone,
I hope you're all aware of the new URL of this blog, (1Mudkip88.blogspot.com). Make sure to change all your bookmarks and such, so that you can stay updated. Don't worry though because I'm going to keep the old URL up, with a message about the change.

In other news, today is my birthday. My 16th birthday to be exact. I don't really feel any different. Well, I actually do feel kinda old, but that's just me. Seeing all the little freshman in the hallway just makes me realize how close I am to graduating and such. But that's a good 2 or so years away. Let's not worry about that now.

Anyway, I'm going to finally make Flash Friday today. I already have a game planned I think. It may change from now until the time this post is published. Don't worry, I'll be making one for this week as well on Friday, so there's not going to be any cancellation or anything.

I'll also do my best to try and upload some SkyBlock Survival. The reason I've been slacking on that is just that it takes a lot of time to re-watch all the footage, clip it to the 15-minute limit (I really wish there was a way around it. I should've switched to directer when that worked. Haha.) and make sure I cover up all the notifications. Since SkyBlock was filmed, I've fixed my notification settings, so it shouldn't happen as often.

Thanks and I hope you have a great day.

Massive amount of birthday comments may now commence.

11/11/11 11:11 Whoa!

Hey guys! So, today was super duper exciting! As most of you probably know, it was a very special day that only comes every 100 years! Well, that is except for other days like 8/8/08 and such, but anyway.

Today is 11/11/11. That's really cool because it's the only date that's all ones (and it's the only time it'll happen in our lifetimes. Unless of course you live to be over 100.)

I'm sure a lot of you make a wish at 11:11. It's a pretty common thing where I live, and today was supposed to be an epic one. (It'll be even more special in 1111!) I did make a wish of course, but I can't tell you guys what it is obviously, because I don't want to ruin it. Haha.

I hope you guys all made a good wish, and didn't miss it. (If you did, maybe you can wait until tonight for it to happen again!)

As far as videos go, I promise I'll finally upload some more SkyBlock Survival this weekend, as well as a Flash Friday for yesterday. I kinda forgot about that. Whoops.

I hope you guys are more used to the new layout by now, and are happy with it. Thanks!

11/16/2011 EDIT:
I feel so terribly. I didn't even mention the fact that it was Veteran's Day. A huge 'Thank You' to all those who have served in the Army, Navy, Military, Air Force, and Marine Corps. I really appreciate all of those who have risked their lives in order to protect our country. Thank you.

New Blog Layout And Upcoming URL Change

Hey there everyone!
You've probably already noticed, but there has been a HUGE layout and design change on this blog. I am going to be changing the title of the blog from The Awesome Saucer-erer to 1Mudkip88's World.

I will be changing the URL of the blog from www.theawesomesauce-erer.blogspot.com to www.1mudkip88.blogspot.com. Remember to change your bookmarks and any links you may have.

I will be making this change in one week (on my Sweet 16 btw.) so please help by spreading the word to all your friends that may not have this blog bookmarked or are not subscribed to it.

Thanks and make sure to follow me on Twitter and like my facebook page to stay updated.

Blog Revamp

I can't do it right now, but I'm sure I can do it tonight. I've been getting a lot of positive feedback on redoing my blog to generalize it more and move away from just Wizard101 and reflect what I post on my YouTube channel.

There will be a new background, title, and probably a new layout as well. I'm not sure if I want to change the title as that would be hard for me to do. I've been The Awesome Sauce-erer for quite some time now, well over a year.

I'm thinking that I'll change the web adress though. I'll have to make sure that everyone knows about it and is ok with it. It should all be done tonight so spread the word.

Y U NO POST?!?! and A Possible Blog Revamp

I honestly have no idea guys. I just don't even think to post on here anymore. That really bothers me because I was doing so well on here. I've just been so disconnected from Wizard101 lately. I just found out about Zafaria. I haven't even beat Celestia yet. Has it been THAT long?

If you guys wanna stay updated with everything that I do, make sure to follow me on Twitter. If you don't have an account, making on is super easy and fast. I make sure to keep my Twitter updated with new video uploads and info on what I'll be filming or doing. I'd be happy to take questions from there as well to my e-mail (blazesilverfist@gmail.com or 1mudkip88@gmail.com [Yes I made a second. Just to keep everything general. They both can access the other's e-mail so  don't worry which you send to.]) Also I've made a new facebook page for myself that just covers my general account, 1Mudkip88. (here)

I guess I don't even realize how easy it is to make these posts. Look I already have two paragraphs. I mean, it'd probably be easier for me to just make blogs, cause I'm totally a better speaker and it's easier for me to just talk rather than trying to type my thoughts up here. Would you guys like that? If I just recorded vlogs? I could post them here and on YouTube/Twitter as well obviously. Let me know what you think about that.

Also I'd like to know if you guys would mind if I revamped this blog and changed it up a bit. Maybe change the color scheme and everything and make it more general to gaming. I mean, I love Wizard101 and all, and I've spent a ton of money on crowns to get everything up to Celestia, but let's face it, I can't play it forever. I'm going to be 16 this month, and it's just not really something I'm that interested in anymore. I promise I'll play it as much as I can though. Just don't expect a ton of Wizard101 stuff all the time.

If you guys won't be interested in my blog anymore if I expand from just Wizard101 stuff, I get that, and you can unfollow me, but I know you guys will all like my new stuff over on YouTube and what can be posted on here if you guys don't mind. I hope this post isn't too disappointing to those hardcore Wizard101 players out there that read this, but I just wanna play other games and it'd just be easier for me to post and get more things out there for this blog and make a name for myself on YouTube and such.

I hope you guys can all understand this and will continue to support me in everything that I do, whether it be Wizard101 or anything else. Thank you.
