1000 Hits and Bazaar Tips

Hey guys. I just wanted to thank you all so much. I recently received my 1000th hit on this website. I truly am honored to have made it this far in the blogosphere. You've all been so supportive and I can't thank you enough.

I would hold a contest or something, but the last time I did that Professor Greyrose didn't care to help. Here's the e-mail I sent to her after my 51st Post Contest and her response.

Hello,
I had a contest on my blog a while ago and never got around to this. I was wondering if you could give me 8 codes to give out for prizes. They can be for whatever. Just like the ones you give to The Friendly Necromancer for his contests. You can visit my blog just to make sure I'm not using them all (well, I suppose you could just look at my account, huh? It's x insert Blaze's account name here x) My blog is www.theawesomesauce-erer.blogspot.com (just in case you want to read it or post it on the Wizard101 website. ;D) Thank you very much. I really enjoy the game and what is going on with the Celestia Pre-Quests. You've done a fantastic job.

Your friend,
Blaze Silverfist
Son of Elik Silverfist: Master Merchant

Here at KingsIsle Entertainment, we wish it were possible to respond affirmatively to the numerous appeals for support and contributions that are received each day from our players, but please understand that it is impossible for us to contribute merchandise and/or funds to everyone who asks. We wish you all the best in your contest efforts.

~Professor Greyrose

How am I supposed to have contests if I don't have prizes? I think she's had one too many potions to drink.

Anyway, I'm going to be starting a new segment here at The Awesome Sauce-erer. (I'm still working on the logo. This is a tentative title so it's subject to change. If you have any suggestions, please don't hesitate to send me an e-mail (blazesilverfist@gmail.com) or a comment. Thank you.

Elik's Master Tips: Helpful Hints For The Bazaar

My dad, Elik, will be making posts once a week with a Monthly Housing Item, take requests for recommended gear selections, and give a few tips for the Bazaar.

Stay tuned in for the very first segment on Saturday, June (July, sorry about that )31st. He's very excited to start this. In fact, his birthday was on Monday. So bring all your un-needed gear and items to him to sell. (It's how the Silverfist family stays in business after all. Why do you think you only get around half price when you sell something? ;D)

Thank you very much. And as always,

Happy Gaming

Sigh, Not Again

Looks like KI still hasn't quite given the Crowns Players what they deserve.

And even trying to weasel you into thinking of subscribing. You make me sick, KingsIsle. x shakes fist x

When will Crowns players be treated better for spending $120+ on this game? (That's just how much I spent. Let me know how much you spent on crowns in the comments.)

Expect a post from a special someone later today.

N00b x2

Hey guys, today I'm going to talk about cloning. No, not the kind of animal cloning that those morally incorrect scientists do in a lab, but the fun and safe kind that you can do from your computer.

A while back I made a Myth n00b named David Misttamer. I had him follow Kyle around and just be kinda creepy. It was pretty funny until Kyle realized that when David was on, I wasn't. So I took it to the next level. I made a second Wizard101 account, with the exact same n00b on it.

I could be on both accounts at the same time and I could port to Kyle and David could port to me. Fun, but got a little boring after a while.

The other day I thought. What if I had two David Misttamers? One on my account, and one on the other account. This is where it gets fun.

The other day I was hanging out with Emily, when David's account loaded up. I hopped on that account while holding a convo with her. I had David port. Emily knows that that's also my account. So I had David #1 hang with Emily, while I ran outside and switched over to the David on my account (#2). I had David #1 take Emily outside while David #2 waited behind the Spiral Door. David #1 took Emily down to the pool, and then ported to David #1 in front of the Spiral Door now. They lined up prefectly so it looked like only one wizard.

David #1 told Emily to come here. Emily runs over, and David #2 separates from David #1. Emily screams and runs down to the pool. David #1 runs down after her while David #2 secretly jumps down the waterfall. We both slowly close in on Emily while she screams.

And frankly, I'd be scared too if it was me. You can just hear the Jaws theme playing.

But, before you go and create a billion other accounts, just know that you may be depriving another wizard of the username that they really wanted. Also, if everyone did this, then the true x-million / billion whatever'th player won't be granted their prize, but some guy that just wanted to mess with his friends. So please, don't make more than one other account unless you need it. Thank you.

Back So Soon?

Surprise! I'm back sooner than I thought. I had an awesome time on vacation. Yesterday Philly, Vanya (David's cousin that was adopted from Russia) and I, went to see The Sorcerer's Apprentice. All I can say is EPIC. I'd love to see some of the stuff in that movie in Wizard101. It'd be crazy.

Tomorrow I might make more than one post, so just be ready to be reading more than usual.

I'm really glad to be home again, and I'm heading through my Spiral Door as I post this.

Ahhhh I Can Relax...

Hey everyone. We got here about an hour ago. Man, I'm lying on the couch typing away on my ipod (I apologize in advance for the typos. ;D) and man do I feel great. It's so nice to be away from all the stress of daily life and just relax here with family and friends.

I can't guarantee that I'm going to post tomorrow and Sunday, but I will certainly try. Now, I don't have any of the pictures that I need(or the capability to post them) from my ipod, so expect just a big wall of text (head nod to Friendly on that [expect a link when I get home.)]

As for now, I just wanted to let you all know that we got here safely and I'm really enjoying myself.

Vacation Once Again

Hey everyone, today I'm going to be going on vacation with David's family and my parents. I can't say where because well, who likes stalkers? ;D

All I can say is that I know I'll have a great time with David, Philly and the rest of the family that will be there.

It's only going to be for the weeked, and I have quite a few post ideas for when I get back. So be prepared to be reading and playing a lot when I return. (You'll wanna try some of this stuff out ;D)

Gratz On Your New Home, Ditto!

Hey everyone, I just wanted to congratulate Ditto (link in side bar) on his very first house. The other day he put up a video asking for tips on which house to buy. Here's the comment that I posted.

My first house was the Desert Villa, which is the Krokotopia mansion. I just loved that house. I kept it all the way through the entire game. It's where I built The Stairs (a huge rendition of the floating rugs glitch) and I kept it until I had too many items to fit in it. I still have it (for the memories and to store The Stairs.) I bought the Balance house and I'm building more stairs there. In conlcusion, I seriously love the Desert Villa. I mean, it's really the biggest house in game (aside from the Myth House and Watchtower Hall) I know a lot of people will argue that the DS mansion is bigger, but there's really not that much to it. (It's a good house though, but not the best.) I mean, the Desert Villa has a lake, a giant Krokosphinx, a cave, and I house, which I adore. I think you'll really have a great time with this house if you choose it. (It is a lot of gold [20,000 I think, right?] But that wasn't that much for me because I didn't buy anything all the way through WC until I could access the KT housing shop. That left me with more than enough.) I've kept all my furniture drops, so I don't really need to worry about furniture unless there is something specific I want to add. I'm going to stop talking now because I've probably already convince you to look at it huh? Dooo it, dooooooo it! (Now just click buy ;D)

Keep up the great work, bud!

You're friend,
Blaze
The Awesome Sauce-erer

I know, it's a long response, but it's hard not to go on and on about what a great house it is.

Today, I was pleasently surprised when I checked out my blog feed. Check it out.

So, send a little comment over to Ditto. I think he'll have a really great time at his new house. I know I did. Right Emily, Alex, Kyle, Alyssa, etc?

Level 60 Spells? [My Guest Blogger Response For Friendly]

Blaze in the hizzouz ( x shudder x Idk if I can get used to that. Haha.)

Yesterday I got a super mega crazy awesome deluxe e-mail from Friendly, asking me to answer a question for him.

So, obviously I'm going to help my buddy out here.

Dear Friendly,

This is James Griffinflame, level 44 necromancer, thanks for answering my last question. But, I have a new one! OK, here it goes: With the new level cap becoming 60, will the regular schools( Myth, Death, Life, Balance, Storm, Fire, Ice) get new spells? A new special level 60 spell? Like will Ninja Pig become a card for level 60 Myth people? Well there is my question, hope you will be able to answer and post

Sincerely, James Griffinflame

Ok, James

Now, first off I want to say that nobody but KingsIsle knows for sure on this one, but we can all theorycraft, which is basically what I'm doing here for you. (Feel free to do some of your own to. [It makes a better wizard ;D])

I, personally, think that there will be new spells because when Mooshu was the last world in game (I wasn't there, but Friendly was!) they just had the level 42 spells (Hydra, Collosus, Stormzilla, Helephant, Wraith, etc) and when Dragonspyre finally came out, we got the level 48 spells, and levels 40-50. That makes me think that since we're getting a new world and levels 50-60, we're gonna be recieving new spells.

I made a post a while back about what I think the new spells will be. Here's the link for ya.

I'm not sure if Conjurers (Myth sudents) will recieve the Ninja Pig spell though. (In fact, I'm almost positive they won't.) You see, I agree, it'd be a nice one hit spell for Myth, but I don't think you'll get it because it comes as a card on the Wayfinder Helmet (from the Spiral Geographic Society Warehouse in the Celestia Pre-Quests.)

Here's a picture of the complete outfit, for those curious.

Gotta love the explorer look to it! :D

I also don't think you'll get Ninja Pig because thee are other cards that are treasures that we don't have the ability to learn, such as Krokomummy (Fire), Cloak (Balance), Lord Nightshade (Death), Woodwalker (Life), Gobbler (Myth), Ghost Touch (Ice), Krokotillian (Balance), and more. Check out the thread over at the Central here.

Again, there is a chance that Ninja Pig may be the card, but I think KI has something far better up their sleeves.

Happy to help again anytime, Friendly.

If you guys have any questions for me, shoot me an e-mail at blazesilverfist@gmail.com.

Celestia Artwork Part 8

Ok guys. I know I'm supposed to be relaxing my arm and it's killing me to type this, but I have to show you this.

Yeah, I told you all that it was a female Marleybonian not a wizard girl. So there. ;D Looks like the Red Gobbler has been confirmed also. In addition to this, there are quite a few (I counted 7) new "mysteries" for us.

Clicky make biggy. ;D

That's all for now.

Btw, I know we should be on part 6 right now, but I guess I messed up with the counting and skipped some wallpapers or something. Anyway, this is correctly Part 8.

A Little Break

Hey guys,
I know I haven't done the Monthly Poll yet, and I'm feeling really behind already, but I have to take a little break from blogging and W101. Don't worry, it's only going to be a few days. I'll be back on Sunday. The reason is that recently my wrist and hand have been hurting and my mom thinks I should take a break because I don't wanna get carpal tunnel or something. You know? Sorry for the inconvenience, buddies.

*Ding* Grandmaster! Thanks to My Friends

Yes, readers, I did it. (And it only took me almost a year.) And what a year it was. Now at this point I would make a really touching montage of my Wizard101 career so far, but that'd take too much time. (Maybe someday I will. ;D)

I did finish the Warehouse, and defeated Estrakir Gloomthorn, along with some new found friends. We hit Estrakir with a Wraith, 10-Pip Judgement, and a Centaur all in a row right after he Scarecrow-ed us. That got him down to 7?? health (out of his full 3,600.) Next turn we hit him with a Skeletal Pirate and a Nature's Wrath and that did him in for good. I was so excited I forgot to take a screenshot. Lol.

I then just had to talk with Professor Balestrom and I would Level Up. Here's the xp that I had left.

Pretty crazy, huh? Let's see. That's 278 experience points. Not that much. It was just a sliver on my Xp Bar. Hehe.

Here's the Quest Text from Halston. (Note how Emily was right there with me :D)

Yeah, idk why Emily is running either (lol jk, she's about to jump.)

We went to Emily's new house (I'll post pictures of it in a future post.) right after because she wanted to show me around.

We got a really nice picture together. (Emily's request. Of course I HAD to get one too. You can't miss out on a moment as awesomesauce as this! :D)

Emily then hosted a party at her house, celebrating my Grandmaster-dom. Love you, Emily! :D

I then had a little surprise for Emily. Someone she hasn't seen in what feels like forever. Our very best friend.

That's him on his subbed account (He's already in the Krokosphinx, with Marleybone gear. It looks really nice on him, huh?) This is definitely my favorite picture. It's with my very first two friends. (Yeah, I think Cody Crowblade was third. [He's another great friend of mine, in case I hadn't mentioned him.]) I remember when we first met. It was on the bridge in Triton Avenue. I'm sure Emily will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe her and Dakota were arguing about something and I was able to solve their problem. We've been best friends ever since. (Turns out Alyssa just met Dakota at this party. Lol!)

I think we all had a really great time at the party. I know I did! I just want to say thank you to all the people that have helped me along the way.

Emily Griffinrider, Dakota Icebreaker, Angela Jadeeyes, Cody Crowblade, Taylor Swiftgem, Rylee Lioneyes, Melissa Swift, Emma Owlflame, Destiny Deathheart, Angel Dragongem, Talon Spiritthief, Allan Iceheart, Alyssa Griffinrider, Alex Legendflame, Kyle Legendflame, Christopher Dragonrider, Christopher Thunderhunter, Eric Hawkdreamer, Jordan Bluegem, Cole Ironblade, Elizabeth, Blaine Darkwalker, James, Alexander Deathbringer, Caleb Blood, Brandon Suncloud, Kane Golddust, Melissa Griffincaller, Nicholas Firerider,

And of course all my blogger friends out there, Victoria Spiritblossom, Heather Raven, Malorn Willowsmith, Kestrel Shadowthistle, Kevin Battleblood, Miguel Wildthorn, Ditto, Leesha Darkheart & Stephen Spiritcaller, and I think I owe some of the most thanks to Thomas Lionblood, The Friendly Necromancer, for being there for all of us.

I sincerely apologize if I have forgotten your name. Just know I thank all of you that have graced my Friends List.

And thank you, readers, for helping me out with this blog.

Warehouse Frustration

I started the Celestia pre-quests yesterday and made it to the Warehouse. Man is that tough.

Here's how it all went down with a Life, Fire, Storm, Balance (that's me,) and Death.

First Try:
Made it to the top, no problem. Got both rats down. Our Storm loses connection. We're destroyed by Estrakir's beefed up Fire Nova.

Second Try:
Our healer has to leave. Called on Angel Dragongem. He doesn't have the quest so he goes on his death alt, Talon Spiritthief. We make it to the top at full health. Get both rats. Get Knuckles. Our attacker, Jacob (Storm) is killed by Estrakir's Scarecrow. He heals and re-enters. Estrakir only has a thousand or so left. Long story short, scarecrow every other turn stinks, and our last wizard (Fire) didn't hold out until we got back up to the top.

Third Try:
The dungeon hasn't reset so we can start at the top every time now. Yay. (Or not!) We get the Rat Illusionists and Knuckles McCloud down very quickly. We get Estrakir down to maybe 500 health. I'm so pumped, ready to finally scream uncensored words at Estrakir in our victory, when out of nowhere. Estrakir casts a Fire Dragon, killing us all. I then start crying.

Fourth Try:
We're all pretty annoyed by now. But, we think we can handle it without a Theurgist (Life student.) We were oh so wrong. Pretty much the same thing happens as last time. We get so close, and someone dies before we can make it back up to the top again. Turns out it was me. Our Fire was the only one up there, while we were healing, getting ready to say goodbye to that Shadow Weaver for good. I ran as fast as I could to the last floor. When I got there, all the enemies were standing around (laughing at our defeat) and Wolf (our Fire) was gone.

Fifth Try:
I'm just rocking back and forth in a ball, saying to myself "Power Nova,...Scarecrow,...Fire Dragon,...it's just not fair,...just not fair." as I'm just sobbing, tears streaming down my face. Wolf was just standing in Reagents Square (the Marleybone Commons) not saying anything. We figured he got disconnected, or something. Jacob, Talon, and I were on the top floor, and we painfully entered the next battle. Talon persuaded me to buy a Life Henchman, so we had a healer of some sort, (other than Wolf and Talon's occasional satyrs. After which Knuckles would Rebirth.) Jacob didn't think that was such a good idea, because we would have a harder time with someone we couldn't communicate with. (I don't know how Menu Chatters would be able to do this... x shudder x) Once we got one rat down, and we were down to 3-400 health each, (except Stefan Greenspirit of course, cause no one cares about the npc,) I just said, well, use your imaginations, and hit Flee, and then inevitably Quit.

My mom says I'm not allowed to go on Wizard101 today because it upset me far too much yesterday.

I just wanted to say how completely unfair I think this place is, and I want to hear what you guys think of it.

Happy Gaming (Unless you're in the Warehouse.)

Celestia Reveal *Spoiler Alert*

Note: Remember guys, you can now click on pictures to make them bigger. To go back to the post, just click the back button.

I apologize for the long wait for me to get this post out. But I think the images you're about to see will make up for it like a Power Pip or two. Let's begin.

Recently Leesha Darkheart (over at Ravenwood Radio) went on a trip to Austin, Texas.

"Hey, Blaze, isn't that where KingsIsle studios is located."

Yes, inquiring reader, it IS.

Leesha made a stop over there and was able to get some information on Celestia, and of course, some concept art for all of us back home.

Let me start off with a brief synopsis of the history of Celestia.

Long ago, the Astral Wizards of Celestia created powerful magic using the energy of the Stars, the Moon, and the Sun. The sorceress, Morganthe, the Queen of the Shadow Web, wanted the secrets of the Celestian magic at... all costs. The Celestians refused her, so she raised a dark army and sent it against Celestia. After decades of battle, the Astral Wizards realized their world would fall. They summoned the Storm Titan to defeat Morganthe’s legions and to take their world to a place of safety.

The Storm Titan betrayed the Celestians by sinking their world beneath the waves along with Morganthe’s invading forces. Realizing they were doomed, the Celestians raised mighty domes to protect some of their treasured city from the waves, though it was too late! They perished along with Morganthe's invading army. Celestia was lost to the Spiral, its Spiral Door closed forever.

Centuries later, a team of brave explorers from the Spiral Geographic Society, led by Sir Thurston Plunkett, re-discovered Celestia. They landed with an air-ship, and built exploratory undersea domes to explore Celestia’s ruins. Plunkett and his fellow explorers soon realized that Celestia was now inhabited by a strange new culture... the Crustacean Empire. Unfortunately, the explorers did not come alone to Celestia. Morganthe’s followers, the Shadow Weavers, stand ready to take Celestia’s magic for their Queen.

After receiving the Spiral Geographic Society’s distress call, Headmaster Merle Ambrose, of the Ravenwood School for Magic, seeks any young Wizards brave enough to journey to the undersea world of Celestia, and discover the secrets of it's lost magic.

What will they find there?

Cool huh? Well, let's take a look at what the teachers of the Astral schools might look like.

Now, I'm not sure if these are going to be the teachers, but they look pretty wise. (Although not smarter than Alhazred, right sorcerers?) I was curious why there didn't seem to be a picture of a Star school teacher. Which also makes me think that these might not be teachers. When I got these pictures from Leesha, they were saved as Sun Boss and Moon Boss. So I'm not sure. You can theorycraft on your own time. Let's get back to the spoilers.

I also got a picture of what the Crustaceans will look like. (Granted we knew from the wallpaper reveals.)

Pretty cool! You can definitely see the Roman-esque look to him. I also got a picture of one of the bosses. I don't know the name, but he is an Angler Fish. (I'm sure once these pictures get around to Autumn, she'll give you some cool info on those.)

He has symbols of all three astral schools, which brings me to a good point. What schools will the bosses / enemies be?  I mean, we can't be getting attacks from the astral schools. Like Friendly, I think it will be a new type of spell if not some type of charm kind of thing. Hmm. Well, that's theory crafting for another day / post. Next picture.

I know, you're all asking yourselves, what the heckhound? Am I right? I'm right. The name of this picture was Platypus Leader. And he looks like a chief of some sort of tribe. That leads me to believe that there won't just be Crustaceans. He seems very friendly, so I'm assuming the platypuses, platypi, platypeople, will be allies of the Crustacean Empire. (Sort of like the goats and the cows in Mooshu.) Either way, he's a platypus, and that's cool enough for me. Moving on.

My second favorite picture from Leesha is this next one. Looks to me like the Unicorn isn't going to be our only new mount this summer.

Yeah, it'll kinda weird me out having squids running around Krokotopia too. Which is why I think this will be a Celestia Only mount. I don't know if that's possible, but it can't be good for squids to be out of water for long. Then again these are magical squids, so who knows.

The next two pictures are of Shadow Weavers. Yeah it's the full versions of the pictures from Becketts.

Regular Shadow Weaver henchman-bug-thing.

And there's your head Shadow Weaver, second in command.

Of course, we can't forget about the all important architecture. ("Right, Blaze, definitely...") Here's one of the areas in Celestia.

Now, for the final picture from Leesha, everyone's favorite drumming troll is going to start us off. Take it away, bud!

x drumroll x

Here it is.

Yup, that's our new villainess, Morganthe, Queen of the Shadow Web. You can see her creepy little Shadow Weaver babies behind her. She's got her big, bad, Staff of No Return. Loving it. I really like the purple magic power in her hand. That really adds to the spookiness of her. Same with the big web and spider legs on the back of her dress. Wait, maybe she's part spider. Even better! I can see it now, Morganthe BATTLE FORM! I'm liking it. She gets down on spider legs and x shudder x death everywhere. If you were wondering what to get Leesha for her birthday, it's definitely that dress. (It is Death Overlord-esque!) She just loves it. And frankly I think every little necromancess will too!

I hope you all enjoyed this little spoiler, and will post your comments with your thoughts on all these pieces of awesomesauce.

Btw, if you caught my Phineas and Ferb referance earlier, you get +15 Brownie Points. ;D

Also, I got these out before Friendly. I feel special.

Loading Is Boring. Crowns Players Deserve Better Too

Hey eveyone, as you know, there have been some issues with loading the game because of the insane amount of players in Wizard101. (Are the realms all listed as full?) I just wanted to express my huge amount of frustration right now. I've been trying to log in for 5 hours NON-STOP. I even got into the game a few minutes ago. Here's what came up:

Then after the intro played about 7 more times, the text changed to this.

Seems even the game is being impatient, huh? Then after about 10 more intro-plays, I got this dandy little message.

I tried logging in again immediately after this. No luck.

As you can see in the comments in my previous post, something needs to be done about this. I've spent over $150 on this game and I can't even get in? Crowns players spend far more than subscribers and we don't even get the same benefits? We can't help out in the site forums and we can't use the Test Realm unless we've given you money in the past 30 days? What the heckhound is that? Everyone has something to contribute. Without Crowns players and free players, you wouldn't have 10 million players, KingsIsle. I think that after having played the game for a month, or whatever amount of time you think is resonable, you should be able to help out in the Test Realm. There are many frustrated wizards out in the Spiral, and we need that fixed.

Let me know what you guys think about this, and I might send it to KingsIsle.

Yes, I know I haven't done the Monthly Poll yet, and you're all very anxious to see Drumroll Troll again. Well, he's going to be visiting very soon for the Celestia Reveal post that I am making right now, and he will give you the poll results the very next day.

Patience

This just in! It should be easier to get into the game. (If your a subscriber that is.)

To the Wizard101 Community:
As many of you are aware, we are currently experiencing some technical difficulties with the Wizard101 game service. As we work through these issues, we are temporarily limiting the number of players who can log into the game at one time. We’ve made this change due to the large number of players trying to log in simultaneously, which has led to noticeable delays when connecting to the game.
We will allow more and more players into the world as the issues are resolved. Login priority will be given first to paying customers, followed by our free player community. Also note that this delay is being caused on initial login only; there are no delays once you have entered the game, and subsequent attempts to connect should be noticeably faster.
Thank you for being patient as we work through these issues. We understand that this is an inconvenience, and we are doing everything we can to address it as quickly as possible.

Thanks,

J Todd Coleman

Isn't that sweet? They're treating the crowns players (such as myself) like gobbler droppings again. Don't worry Mr. Coleman, it totally doesn't matter that we pay more than subscribers (admitted by KingsIsle) and you treat us like free players who can't even complete Wizard City. Thanks KI, thanks.

Woah There, Wizards!

Wow, it looks like Wizard101 can't handle anymore players at the moment! The pre-quests just went live, and man, look what happened after my game finished loading.

That's pretty crazy huh?

And now, thanks to Friendly, you can click on my pictures to make them bigger. I will try my best to fix the ones that I have already uploaded. But I can't guarantee that I will fix all of them, but I will try. It turns out that if I move a picture around the post, then we lose the ability to zoom in on it. I switched to the newer version of the post creator, so that it uploads the pictures right where my cursor is. Isn't that handy?

Ugh, my game just finished loading for the third time. Same message. I guess I really do have to wait a bit.

I'll give you more coverage on the updates after I get on and whatnot. And I'll try and get out the Celestia Press Release post that I'm working on. (The info is still new, as it isn't in the pre-quests.)

Petnome Project Photoshoot Pleases Press

Kevin was able to make a fantastic logo for the Petnome website. (A little better than I would've done. Hehe. [I'm better at editing suff that starting from scratch. Far better.]) There were a lot of great wizards in this picture (including me!)

Here's a quote from Kevin's post.

Let's see, Ronan Dawn, Fallon Deathslinger, Cassandra Lifecaster, Wolf Bluestone, Malorn Willowsmith, Jenna (new friend!), Cassandra Hexthorn, Miguel Wildthorn, Blaze Mistshard, John Spiritshade, Blaze Silverfist, Amber Rosepetal, Kestrel Shadowthistle, Isaac Mistheart, Taryn Dawn, Luke Dragontamer, Kayla (Fallon DS's daughter) and Scarlet (Fallon DS's alt) and a few friends of friends were all there to help out, and were amazingly patient with me trying to get everyone together and organized. Two and a half hours...I didn't mind too much :) The point was finishing what we were aiming for, that's all I could ask for! Well, that and a nice Colossus to ride on as a mount. Then I'd be really, really happy. But I digress. And yes, the "Petnome Project" words are jigsaws!

Yeah, a lot of bloggers were there, along with quite a few fans of mine. (I thought that was pretty cool.) Kevin even took the time to make a little ad, which I will keep on the bottom of the page along with a link. Check it out.

I think that's pretty inspiring! Here's some of the pictures that I took.

You can see Kevin off in the distance, checking things out. (He was on his alt, Kevin Swiftrunner, so his main could be in the pictures too.)

Here's the two lines. (That was the easiest formation. [Kevin didn't even have to tell us exactly where each of us should stand ;D])

Kestrel had to turn into a Fire Elf, because by the time we got to the last, and most important, formation, we were one red short. Thank you Kestrel!

Here you can see a lot of us. This was when I first got there. We were doing just a group of people on the bridge. That's Miguel Wildthorn to my right. He's the wizard that came up with the idea for a petnome project. Respect. You can also see Victoria up in the top right corner. She had to leave early so she's not in the banner, but she's in the video, which is something to be very proud of. :D

And here's one of Kevin and I. His list was full, so I wasn't able to add him, but we're still good friends. (You can see Malorn in the background, looking at the formation. Malorn was a big help too. Thanks Malorn!)

I just want to give a big thank you to Kevin Battleblood and Miguel Wildthorn for helping out so much with this collosal project in Wizard history. Keep up the great work.

Petnome Photoshoot

Hey guys. Last night I was able to participate in a photoshoot by Kevin Battleblood for the Petnome Project website. He made a post on his blog yesterday telling everyone when the photoshoot would be. By the time I saw the post, it was half an hour after it was scheduled to be over. I sighed and went on Twitter. On Malorn Willowsmith's page, it said the photoshoot was still going on, but in a different location than listed on Kevin's blog. So, I loaded up W101 and ported over to Malorn and joined in the photoshoot.

It lasted for two and a half hours on the big bridge in Triton Avenue. We were able to do 4 different formations of wizards. Just a group, two lines (one of wizards in red, one of wizards in blue,) an X, and the Pedigree DNA-ish symbol. I think Kevin did a fantastic job organizing all of it, and instructing where everyone should stand. I know from experience how hard it is to control a crowd. Especially in a game like Wizard101. Respect, Kevin. Respect.

As soon as Kevin get the pictures up and whatnot. I'll post them here along with the ones I took.

I Feel Loved!

Wow, I can't believe the huge response that I' m getting in the comments recently. My hit counter even hit 300. (Just check it out. It's rising rapidly!) I really appreciate all the kind words that you guys have posted. They're really helpful in these hard times.

There was another Celestia reveal. I also have some insider pics from Leesha's (over at Ravenwood Radio) trip to the KingsIsle offices in Austin.

The thing is, I'm trying to hold off on pictures until I can make it so you guys can click on them to make them bigger. (Like of Friendly's and numerous other blogs.) I sent Friendly an e-mail a while ago asking how, but I haven't gotten a response yet. If any of you know how, please share with me. Hehe. I'm very excited about all the spoilers that are coming out and I really want to share them with you all.

Last night, I didn't see Alex, as he removed himself from my list apparently. Luckily I have a few friends that have him and Kyle added, but neither of them were on at the same time as me. This thing is really taking it's time to get solved, huh?

I'm really ok atm (at the moment) though. So no sympathy needed right now. Hehehe.

I also wanted to say thank you again to all of you that are putting links up to my blog and sending me e-mails. You're the kinda fans that I've been needing. I feel like I'm getting closer and closer to Friendly every day here.

Thank you.

Why Am I So Hated?

Why would you think that? I'm not trying to make you look bad AT ALL. In fact I haven't done anything to. No one thinks you're a bad person at all. Victoria doesn't either. She doesn't blame anything on you and neither do I or anyone else. And I don't plan on making a post on something I already talked about unless it's important. It's not about you if it's about Wolf. Why don't you want me to post about Wolf? Or just the gay rights stuff? If your uncomfortable with it that's fine, because I've already made my post about it. I just wanted to let everyone know that everything is ok with you guys so they won't worry about our friendship. Apparently they have something to worry about because you're very angry at me, yes? Please help me understand why and we can work this out.

Life Soaks (Responses to My Previous Post.)

Note: Guys, keep in mind that I started this on Friday, so some of the issues with this have been resolved.

------------------------------------------

I've gotten very mixed reactions to my last post.

Victoria Spiritblossom left a very encouraging comment on it.

This is yet another big eye-opener for us. People should have the right to like whoever they want, and not be ridiculed because of it. You're brave to post this, and I've been trying to make one with the same intentions. I'm just not very good with words. Another sad part of this post is that some of the world hasn't accepted other nationalities into their lives. Just as Martin Luther King Jr. stood up for African-Americans' rights, our generation needs to stand up for these rights. And not just our generation. We also need to encourage our parents and the other adults in our life to accept this. We need to understand that homosexuals are not the wrong ones, but the people that make fun of them are. I respect you a lot for this, and I hope that other people can pick up this attitude.

~Victoria Spiritblossom

Thanks for so much support, Victoria! I apparently will need it. Alex posted a comment as well.

Blaze why on earth would you post this? this was a waste of my time :P

That's really helpful, Alex. Really helpful.

Victoria responded to that amazingly well.

@SitherDEMON I realize that writers need criticism every once in a while, but do you have to be so mean about it? It really stings to have a story or a post or anything that you wrote be talked about like this. Trust me. How would you like it if you had worked all day long on a post (or four months on a story) and someone came along and said that it was waste of time? In the words of every adult I've met, if you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything.

I don't know how you do it, Victoria. You're fantastic.

When I went on today, I hung out with Alex and Emily. Alex was very upset that I posted this. I explained to him how I was standing up for what I believe in and am trying to make a difference in the world. I know I'm only one person, but so were Rosa Parks, Anne Frank, and Harriet Tubman. They had huge impacts on society, as I hope to in the future. I really think Alex undertsood this. Unlike his brother. Here's the conversation I just had with him.

Me: People are getting killed because they're gah
Me: It's not funny
Kyle: o. O
Me: Read the stories I posted
Me: They're not funny.
Kyle: I'm sorry Blaze, but xD
Me: Stop it!
Kyle: o. o
Kyle: xD
Me: This is why I hate you guys!
Me: You don't feel.
Kyle: It's not my fault I can't control that I think it's funny xD
Me: You think everything is a joke!
Kyle: Not really :P
Kyle: xD
Me: THAT PEOPLE ARE GETTING KILLED FOR WHO THEY LIKE?
Me: IT'S TERRIBLE!
Kyle: So if you got hurt, you think I would laugh xD
Kyle: xD
Me: Yes, I do.
Kyle: THAT'S A LIE!
Me: No, it's not.
Kyle: Wow :P
Me: Cause you don't understand what I've gone through.
Me: I've been made fun of every single day for sven years, Kyle.
Kyle: And you never told me that you have :P
Kyle: o. O
Me: Cause people think I'm gah
Kyle: Wait a minute o. O
Me: I know what these people have to deal with.
Me: It's NOT funny.
Kyle: um I. I
Me: It hurts.
Kyle: Blaze, not to be rude, but did you just say that basically you are I. I
Me: I think you need to realize what you're saying.
Me: I'm not gah
Me: People just think I am
Alyssa: I think you are
Alyssa: xD
Kyle: I. I
Kyle: xD
Me: Thanks, Alyssa.
Alyssa: xD
Me: You're really helping.
Alyssa: Sorry :P
Kyle: o. O
Me: No. Your're not.
Alyssa: Geez.
Kyle: Blaze even thinks I would laugh if he got hurt! :P
Me: You all think it's funny that people are getting killed just for who they like?
Me: It's awful!
Alyssa: It's just my opinion.
Me: This conversation is going on my be log.
Kyle: x Digs hole in dirt to get away from Blaze x
Me: Fine.
Alyssa: Don't let it go to you're head.
Me: It's has gone to my head for sven years, Alyssa.
Me: People make fun of me every day.
Alyssa: x Hides from Blaze x
Me: You should be glad I haven't been killed yet.
Kyle: o. O xD
Me: People are being killed everywhere, Alyssa.
Me: It's not funny at all.
Alyssa: I never said it was.
Me: Then why are you laughing?
Alyssa: I wasn't.
Me: xD is laughing, Alyssa.
Kyle: xD
Me: Leave me alone.

x Removes Kyle and Alyssa x
x Exits Game x

I hope you all can see why I removed them. I can't believe that they think it's funny that people are getting killed. That's just sickening. In the middle of this conversation, I got texts from Aedan after he read my post about this issue.

Aedan: Very bad stuff in here and I can't believe Alex is so mean.
Aedan: You're a good man.
Me: Thank you :(

------------------------------------------

I understand that some of the things that Kyle and Alyssa said are a little hard to believe. But, I do have the screenshots to prove it if they deny saying any of it. In the words of Friendly: "Screenshot or it didn't happen."

If you go through the comments you will see that there was a bit more to the story with Wolf. I still feel bad for him though, and I honestly think Alex gets all this. Kyle and Alyssa, I'm not so sure about. I hope Emily and Alex can help them see how serious this all really is.

Getting on the game right now. I'll let you know what happens.

4th of July With Some Friend Issues Still

First of all, I'd like to wish you all a very happy 4th of July. I'm over at my aunt's house right now, on her laptop.

Of course the holiday isn't why I'm making this post. I'm making it to let you all know that I believe everything is worked out between me and Alex (just read the comments.)

When I get home today, I'm going to finish the post that I started, about what happened online yesterday. It was quite a conversation, and leaded to two "removes" of mine. (Alyssa and Kyle.) Now, you're all probably wondering why I removed two of my best friends in the entire Spiral.

Well, you'll have to read my next post to find out. As soon as I go on Wizard101 when I get home, I will try to add them both back. (Of course if they want to. They don't seem to happy with me in the comments.)

Last night, David's sister, Tiffany, took me out to see Twilight: Eclipse. That movie is just fantastic! I don't know why it got such poor reviews. I was very happy with it, and hope to get it on dvd for my birthday. I would highly recommend it if you've seen the first two.

That's all for now. Have a great day.

Sorry

Alex, In my next post I am explaining everything that happened today.I am sorry I got so upset but this is important to me. I didn't mean to make you seem like the bad guy. I'm not blaming any of this on you. Your always going to be my friend no matter what. I love you and your brother and that won't change. no matter what.

I'm sorry.

A Very PG-13 Discussion

NOTE: I understand this is my longest post, but I really encourage you to read it all, as it is worthwhile. Also, please do not read this if you are not 13+. Even if you are 13+, please get a parent's permission before reading this post. Thank you.

Ok guys, today I'm going to talk about an issue in society that really bothers me. If I lose a few followers or maybe a few friends off my list because of this, oh well.

Let me start off by telling a story. (Yes, Silverfist Storytime, I know, it's exciting.) Ok, so yesterday I was over Kyle's house jc (just chilling) with him and a few of his friends. I had to go afk for a few minutes and walk my dogs. Apparently I missed a lot. Alyssa was there too along with another friend of mine, Nicholas Firerider. Apparently Alyssa's friend, Paige, ported and then one of Paige's friends, Wolf, ported in. Wolf, proceeded to kiss Paige, Alyssa, and then Nick. Alex was inside when this happened.

When I came back from the real world, Emily was very upset with Nick because she thought something happened between him and Alyssa, and was worried, being the protective older sister she is.

Emily told be everything she new and I went inside and talked to Nick and Alyssa. Alyssa told me everything. (I suppose it's good that Alyssa feels comfortable talking to me. [I also don't know if she figured I would tell Emily. But oh well.])

I went back outside and Alex was yelling at Emily. I told Emily the story and she and I both felt bad for this Wolf guy. I was determined to find him and talk with him about this. Alyssa was able to port to Paige and she said a guy there, named Mitchell knew who Wolf was and had him on his list.

After a long time of waiting for Mitch, who runs a restaurant at his house, we learned that he knew a Wolf, but it wasn't the right one.

I had to leave W101 because I was going out to dinner that night with my mom, David, and his mom.

Today when I logged on, Alex was on. We talked for a bit and then, moving on to a new topic, Alex says "haha we got that faggot, Wolf, banned last night." I immediately started defending Wolf because I can't stand people making fun of others. I say "What did he ever do!?!" Alex responded with "things I don't like to say."

I can't believe people. You report a guy for kissing someone? I understand this is a kids game, but it's not like we don't kiss our parents goodbye before going to school or see it in movies. What is so bad about kissing a person of the same gender? Because it's different? Is that why so many people hat gays? Because they're different? Well, so are Africans and Asians and Indians. Have we accepted them into our society? Of course! Why can't we do the same for homosexuals?

Read the following and see what these kids have to go through just because people are so cruel.

Facts:

=On October 7, 1998 a boy named Matthew Shepard was in a bar in a town called Laramie, Wyoming. Matthew was 21. Two boys, Aaron McKinney and Russel Henderson, decided to pretend to be gay and lure him into their car. Matthew was very innocent and gullible for a person his age, so he trusted the men. McKinney and Henderson drove just outside of Laramie. Feeling they were safe, they suddenly turned on Matthew. They beat him and took his shoes and tied him to split-rail fence. Almost 18 hours later he was found by a cyclist who had just happened to turn down that road. The man mistook him for a scarecrow untill he saw Matthew's hair. Matthew was taken to the hospital, where he died on October 12, 1998. The attention to his murder was nation-wide. Though Matthew's death was a tragedy, it opened the world's eyes to the fact that hate crimes happen every day, and every town has people who hate.

=Almost exactly four years later, on October 4, 2002, a seventeen year old girl named Gwen Araujo was at a party in Newark, California. Her supposed friends thought they knew her. She had had sexual relations with many of them. But one of the friends knew something the rest didn't. Paul Merel's girlfriend was at the party. She somehow checked Gwen's genitalia in the bathroom of the house, though the court account doesnt record how. She discovered that Gwen was, in fact, Eddie Araujo, a transgender. She told her boyfriend, Paul, who in turn told Jason Cazares, Mike Magidson, Jaron Nabors and his younger brother, Jose Merel. They forcibly checked Gwen's genitalia, and after discovering this was true, became enraged. Mike Magidson began to choke her in the hallway. Other guests that had been there began to leave. Once everyone had left, three people began to assault Gwen Araujo. Jose Merel struck her over the head with a frying pan and again with a can of tomatoes, leaving a gash in her head which bled profusely. Jaron Nabors hit her with a barbell weight. Mike Magidson kneed her head into the living room wall. The blow was so forceful that her head caused a dent in the wall. Araujo was taken into the garage of the home, where she was strangled by a rope. (Stories conflict on whether she was strangled by Mike Magdison or Jaron Nabors). She was then hog-tied, wrapped in a blanket and put in the bed of Mike Magdison's pickup truck. They drove her body to a parkland in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada called Silver Fork and buried her in a shallow grave. Almost three weeks passed. Finally Jason Nabors slipped a word to a friend. The friend called the police, a Jason Nabors was arrested. The police were led to Gwen's grave on October 16, 2002. The rest of her assailants were charged for murder and hate crime.

=How many people know the real meaning of the word "fag?" Not many. Fag means "bundle of sticks." Why are gay men called fags? Because during the witch hunts and witch burnings, the people wouldn't just use wood to burn the accused "witches." They would also tie up accused gay men and lay them at the feet of the witches, upon the wood. They would then light the men on fire, signifying that gay men were even worse sinners than the "witches." Over half the men and women burned were not gay nor were they witches.

=Almost no one knows where the term dyke came from. Most people think its those walls in Holland used to keep water back. Those are spelled dike. Dyke is actually the Roman goddess of Justice.

=The Pentagon still has homosexuality listed as a mental disorder, and has no intention of changing it.

=States who have legalized gay marriage: Vermont, Massachusetts, Maine, Iowa, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Washington D.C.

Countries: Norway, Belgium, Canada, South Africa, Sweden, Spain, Netherlands

=On May 15, 2008, gay marriage was legalized in California. On November 4, 2008, Proposition 8 banned gay marriage. On May 9, Proposition 8 was upheld by the Supreme court.Maine voted against same sex marriage in early November.

=Homosexuality isn't a disease. Homophobia seems more like the disease to me.

=At almost every school, students who are gay/are believed to be gay are harassed more than overweight or fat students, and students with disabilities, combined.

=Most schools do not cover sexual orientation in their anti-discrimination policies. Only nine states have anti-bullying laws that specifically address sexual orientation.

=Think about how many times you hear the sentences "You fag." "You're such a fag." "That's so gay." "Yeah, it was so gay." Next time your in school, count how many times you hear this. THEN count how many people who say this are your friends.

=Why is it so wrong to marry the same sex? Isn't it worse to marry your own cousin (incest is a sin in the bible as well) or a man fifty years to your twenty, or marry someone just for his or her money?

=GLBT (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender) youth make up over 30% of suicides each year.

=Every 5 hours and 48 minutes, a GLBT youth commits successful suicide

=Every 14 minutes, a GLBT youth attempts suicide

=Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are not special rights. They are endowed to everyone and include marriage, too.

=Many people don't realize how much of a financial problem gay couples have because they cannot be married. Insurance companies do not recognize them as couples. They have to get insurance for themselves, they cannot get it together. Thats a lot of money to pay.

=Many kids are not out of the closet as gay because they are afraid of looks they will get in the hallways, names they will be called, etc. Why make their life scarier and more stressful than a regular teenager's life is?

=STRAIGHT PEOPLE- TRY THIS. Imagine you have a deep dark secret. It can be anything, it doesn't matter. Now imagine that if you told people this secret you would be ridiculed, hated, looked at like you are a freak. Imagine how badly you want to tell someone your secret. Imagine your fear of a person's reaction if you tell them your secret. Imagine you tell someone the secret, but it leaks out and soon everyone knows. Imagine people whispering and pointing at you as you walk down the hall. Imagine people staring at you as if your a freak, as if there is something wrong with you. Imagine people throwing their lunches at you or spitting on you as you walk across the courtyard at lunch. Imagine people taunting you with names that hurt you like a bullet. Now open your eyes. Gays go through this every day. We don't have to imagine. For us, its reality.

I'll spare you from the rest of the very long collection of facts and stories by LezzieLexi2QT2BSTR8 over on DeviantArt. (I don't want you guys up all night.) I do however encourage you to read through it. Here's the link.

If you cry after reading through it all, like I did, I give you +100 Brownie Points. If you didn't cry, but still read it. I'll still give you +100.

So, I hope this post really opened your eyes to all the horrific things that people have to deal with and go through, and maybe realize that gays aren't so different after all.

This is me standing up for what is right. I hope you can do the same.

Everyone can make a difference.
